Love the serene mood and dusky lighting of this piece. Blending the boat from calm waters into this setting of crashing waves was a big success! The only issue that keeps drawing my eye are the rocks in the water, closest to the front & right of the boat. They are 2 different colors. The lighter one in the front doesn't seem to belong.
Maybe the overlay caused it? Ive solved this problem in the past by isolating that with the lasso tool & deleting the overlay there. Then on a new blend layer, you can color match that rock to the one next to it.
